Survey Participation Request - Please help!

Here is a request we received from a graduate student. Feel free to read below if you would like to help!

My name is Melissa Sherman and I am a graduate student currently enrolled in the Marriage and Family Therapy/Art Therapy program at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California. This research study is a requirement of the program and I would really appreciate your help.

*The participants of this research are practicing licensed psychotherapists. Please take the survey if you are licensed and currently practicing therapy. * * * *The purpose of this research is to gain awareness of the prevalence and application of sandplay therapy among practicing therapists. Please note that I am trying to gather respondents who use sandplay therapy as well as those who do not use sandplay therapy in their practice.*

The format of this study is a survey that you can take online or via standard mail. It should take you no longer than 10 minutes to complete. The below link takes you directly to the online survey. If you would prefer to complete the survey on paper, please provide your mailing address to the primary researcher and they will send you the survey via standard mail with a pre-stamped return envelope.

Your participation is voluntary and your responses will be confidential and anonymous. All responses will be compiled together and analyzed as a group.

If you have any questions prior to or after taking the survey, please feel free to contact the primary researcher via the information below.

*To enter the survey, please click on the following link:* https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Sandplay

*Along with taking the survey yourself, I'm hoping you could forward this request to any other practicing licensed psychotherapists who may be willing to take a short online survey. *

Thank you for your time. I really appreciate it.

Sincerely,

Melissa Sherman Notre Dame de Namur University Department of Art Therapy 1500 Ralston Avenue Belmont, CA 94002 melissa.sherman@gmail.com (415) 516-8642
